Introduction

The project

Supersonic Queen revisit Queen's catalogue with five musicians and a fully live performance. Phil Copping's vocals and stage presence lead a show combining guitars, vocal harmonies, piano and audience participation. From “Bohemian Rhapsody” to “Don't Stop Me Now”, the production brings together theatrical songwriting and the direct energy of a rock concert. For festivals, theatres and events, it offers immediately recognisable repertoire, with the format and set list agreed to suit each engagement.

Career

Artistic journey

Active since 2010 and originating in the West Midlands and Kent, Supersonic Queen developed their show across the venue, theatre and festival circuit. Their appearances include the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone and the Freddie Mercury exhibition at Sotheby's. Phil Copping leads the stage performance alongside guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. “Somebody to Love”, “Radio Ga Ga” and “We Are the Champions” feature in the band's published repertoire. This is an independent tribute, without participation by the members of Queen.
