Introduction
Steve Mitchell explores the music of George Michael and Wham! through a tribute focused on the voice and its connection with the audience. The delicacy of “Careless Whisper” meets the pulse of “Faith” and the scale of “Freedom! ’90”, creating contrasts between ballads, pop and dance. The proposition can be considered for a theatre concert, a private celebration or a corporate event, with repertoire and format discussed individually. It is an opportunity to hear familiar songs in a live interpretation that values the singer’s presence and the atmosphere of each occasion.
Career
Steve Mitchell’s professional background includes work on the entertainment circuit in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma between 2009 and 2014. In 2017 he joined a George Michael theatre production, touring with the show for three years. His current project brings together the solo catalogue and Wham! songs for theatres, corporate events, weddings and private parties. This is an independent tribute performed by Steve Mitchell, distinct from other shows devoted to the same repertoire. Booking & Beyond confirms availability, duration, programme and technical requirements before preparing an event-specific proposal.
