The project
Voice, guitar and loops built live give Thinking Out Loud a starting point close to Ed Sheeran’s musical world. The tribute explores the passage between the intimacy of acoustic song and the collective dimension of a chorus, with “Perfect” and the song that names the show as reference points. Watching musical layers take shape adds another way to follow the performance. The proposition can be presented solo or with a band, offering different scales for the same repertoire. For venues and pop music events, the concept suggests a journey between ballads and more rhythmic songs, always centred on the relationship between performer, song and audience.

Artistic journey
Premiered in 2022, Thinking Out Loud was conceived to travel through different phases of Ed Sheeran’s repertoire. Building musical layers in real time is one element of the show, alongside the option of performing with a band. “Shivers”, “Bad Habits” and “Overpass Graffiti” broaden its world beyond acoustic ballads, adding contrasts of rhythm and atmosphere. The solo version focuses attention on voice, guitar and looping; the band option develops another relationship between the same references and an ensemble sound. These possibilities are assessed for each proposal. The tribute is independent, with no participation or official association with Ed Sheeran; format and setlist are defined for each presentation.
