Introduction
The project
ABBA Experience brings harmonised voices, a live band and ABBA-inspired costumes together in a celebration of Swedish pop. The concert starts from the meeting of chorus, rhythm and image, creating room to sing and dance together. Familiar songs can connect those who have known them since the early records with those who discovered them later, giving the tribute a shared dimension across generations. For summer festivities, theatres and corporate events, the Portuguese project offers a way to programme music and participation. The proposition has its own independent identity: ABBA’s repertoire is the starting point, without announcing the presence of or an official association with the original band.
Career
Artistic journey
Originating in Portugal, ABBA Experience presents a format of four singers and four instrumentalists, with piano, guitar, bass and drums. Its career includes EXPOFACIC and Fórum da Maia, references that place its stage presentation in context. The combination of vocal harmonies and instrumental accompaniment shapes the tribute, while costumes establish a visual connection with ABBA’s world. The line-up can adapt to the event, so the described format should not be understood as a fixed condition for every presentation. For each proposal, Booking & Beyond confirms availability, personnel and production. This is a project distinct from ABBA’s Angels and an independent tribute, with no participation by the original band.
